thnderboltns
My company posted an ad for my EB2 PERM as in bellow ==================== MS or equi + 5 yrs. Exp .............. =================== I noticed that word "BS" is missing, I asked my employer that ad is missing "BS", he is saying that the word "equivalent" already implies "BS + 5", so no need to put "BS". I'm not satisfied with his answer, because there is "+5" after equi , that means "BS +5 +5"??? Could any help whether the above ad is correct for EB2? Do I have a chance to have audit or rejection? My company attorney said there is typo in the ad. but that shouldn't be a problem. I am worried about that typo, will that not be an issue? Link to comment
Reporter
My friend's advertisement in Sunday news paper is like MS, 3 years exp (or equiv) and it got denied after audit. The reason is that BS is not mentioned and the officer says not mentioning BS means discouraging BS candidates. Link to comment
satya2k1
Hi REporter, How can DOL establish minimun requirements for a position? In my case, my job requires Masters degree. Employer establishes minimum requirement for a position. Isn't it? Link to comment
delvisaoct
Hi satya, Can you give more details on your advert. I also applied as MS+2 yrs but did not mention about BS+5 at all. So the minimum qualification for my ad is MS degree. Can you provide more details for your advertisement, Link to comment
