raj
I have my visa appointment at Vancouver in March and i have few questions. I am from Maryland going to Vancouver for H-1B stamping. I am not sure if it is better to fly directly to Vancouver or fly to Seattle and go by road? Please advice.... One of my friend who traveled from Chicago to Vancouver had to face little more questions than usual both at the Vancouver (Canada port of entry) and Chicago (US port of entry) airports. How is the port of entry by road going to Canada and coming to US? Thanks... Link to comment

Flyerfrequent39
Travel by road, its easier. I have travelled a numerous times on visitor visa to canada & not once did I have any issues going or entering back into the US. Fly out to seattle & make a road trip to Vancouver. My second h1-b stamping is also in Vancouver on March 28th. Let me know what day are you planning to go. Link to comment
raj
@Flyerfrequent39 Thanks a lot for your suggestion. @ayyalos i Havent spoke to him in detail, So I am not sure about what questions were asked. He told the POE officer he was coming to attend visa and that could be the reason and he said they asked something like why not some place close to IL. May be if he has told that he is visiting some friend i guess you should be fine. Link to comment
