H1b Visa appointment in Merida, Mexico

Hey,

I have booked my visa appointment on Feb 23, 2012. Is there anyone going to attend during that week and I as well request you all to share your experiences who had gone to Merida in most recent times. I would really appreciate it if you have any advises to make.

Hey nrkam, The most latest available is on Feb3rd.

Thanks a lot Srikanth. I'm planning to go to Vancouver or Merida for my visa stamping in the first week of March. I know that we have to get a visitor visa to go to Canada, but how about Mexico? Do we need a visa for that as well? I'm just wondering if I have enough time to get a Mexican visitor visa (if we need one) and then go to stamping by March

If we don't need a visitor visa, then I might be able to join you on the 23rd for Merida.

@nrkam1- you wouldn't need a visa to Mexico if you still have valid US visa. If not you will have to get Mexican tourist visa. I have got this in couple of hours and yeah it depends upon the consulate your visiting ...I went to Mexican consulate in Austin.
