Earning through Google Adsense with H1B

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum & have a couple of questions and would appreciate if soemone can guide me reg this. I'm currently on a H4 visa and have a website which I started as a hobby which now sees a lot of traffic. I would like to monitize the situation but, since I'm on a H4, the option is ruled out. I would like to know if I can generate revenue through Google Adsense & afflilate links/ads by directing it to my husband's account since he is on a H1b? Is it legal for someone on a H1b to have additional revenue apart from the primary income? Please let me know. Any thoughts/suggestions on this would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Sorry, you can not put ads on your website. That would be a business then, and on H4 you can not do that. And your husband can't, either. His H1 allows him to work for his employer only.
