I am planning to get married in India in March 2012. Can you guys please advise what are my options to bring my wife to USA, and how much time it will take? What is the PD for Spouse sponsorship? JoeF Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 You may want to look at the Visa Bulletin. There is a 2-5 year backlog (fluctuactes quite a bit) for spouses of Permanent Residents. You may want to wait with marriage until you are a US citizen. The only other option would be if the future spouse qualifies for an h1 or L1 visa, which allow immigration intent. Link to comment
