JacobP Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 My husband got his H1-B on a J1-Waiver program and with this you have to complete 3 years to get GC. He is EB2 and as we check the uscis.gov , the current eb2 for India is Jan2011.Our priority date is nov 2011.So mu questions are 1) If priority date becomes current with our date, can we file GC or we would have to complete the 3 years ? 2)If we have to complete 3 years , after the completion will be immediately become eligible for GC?
