Stamping with future petition dates

Hi,

My present I-797 is valid till 07-Apr-2012.

I applied for H1B extension through Premium processing and got the new approval with dates as follows:

Starting Validity Date: 08-Apr-2012

Ending Validity Date: 29-Sep-2014

I am planning to go to India in Feb'12, ie next month, and will have to go for stamping. My present petition (valid till 07-Apr-2012) is also not stamped. Now my doubt is, will I be eligible to use my new petition valid from Apr'12 to Sep'14, or I have to use the present petition valid till 07-Apr-2012, for stamping.

What would be the validity date of the stamping in either case?

You can apply for an H1B visa up to 90 days in advance beginning of employment status as noted on the form I-797, Notice of Action, however your entry to the US is restricted to 10 days prior to the start date as noted in the Form I-797 unless you are already working on an H1B visa and have applied for a re validation.
