I got my H1 approval notice (I-797) on jan 16th from my employer. But my wife didn't got her approval letter.it's over 15 days now.Usually how much time does it take to get the approval letter for H4.To which number I need to contact the Vermont service center and after how may days? Attorney_10 Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 Generally if the I-129 petition and I-539 application are filed together the approval notices will also be issued together or within a few days of the other. If they were filed separately then the I-539 application may take longer to be adjudicated. The applicant can contact USCIS to place a status inquiry on the I-539 application. Link to comment
