When can I receive the receipt of that because my parents are planning to visit US from India. Their visitor visa interview is on Sep 26th. vvhk Posted September 8, 2011 Report Share Posted September 8, 2011 Processing time is for approval of the petition. You should get the receipt notice within a couple of weeks. Also, you do not need this information for your parents' visitor visa. The visa officer is looking for proof of their "non-immigration" (if I can say that) intent and is not concerned about your H1 visa. Link to comment
