nkothako
I came to salt lake city on Jan 2011 and my visa got expired on Dec 2011 but my I-94 is having to till 2014. Due to some some reason I filled my extension in the same month and currently I am in RFE state. But my question is 1> In case if my L1B extension visa is gets rejected then can I stay on my I -94 still up to 2014 2> If above answer is yes then can I stay & work on my previous I -94 in Phoenix 3> If above answer is no then which are all the state in US falls under this category like the above where we should have valid I-94 & visa Thanks a lot in advance Link to comment
Attorney_23
Did your employer originally file an individual petition, or did you enter using the company's L-1 Blanket petition? Link to comment
nkothako
My company itself filed my L1 extension Link to comment
Attorney_23
Yes, but when you first received your L-1 visa, did you apply under the company's Blanket, or was an individual petition filed? Link to comment

Attorney_23
If a foreign national seeks readmission as a Blanket L-1,the individual's visa is unexpired, and the Blanket Petition is still valid, the foreign national will ordinarilly be admited for an additional three years. If a petion to extend status or change status is filed and denied, this ordinarilly will not impact the individual's existing, valid status. As for transferring to a different location, a foreign national admitted under an L-1 Blanket may ordinarilly be reassigned to any organization listed on the approved Blanket if he/she will continue performing virtually the same job duties.
