chances of getting L1 with H4 stamping

Hi,

I got my H4 stamped last week. My current company is now willing to send me on L1. They started paper work for the same and I might be going for L1 stamping in March.

I have following doubts:

1. What are my chances to get L1 stamped with H4 stamping already being done?

2. In case if my L1 gets rejected, will it affect my H4? Can I enter USA using the same H4?

Could anyone please clarify my doubts?

Ordinarilly, having an H4 visa does not impact an application for an L-1 visa. If the L-1 visa is denied, this generally will not cause the Consulate to cancel an existing H4 visa.
