Successful H1b visa interview at 9:30 on 13th in Ottawa.

Background about my case:

Indian citizen, F1 Student, First time H1b stamping in Mexico, Applying for H1b extension, Full time employee with a Public company. Same employer as the original H1b.

Interview details:

Got there at 9:15, went through security clearance.

Submitted passport, I797, DS160

Tenprinted at the next counter.

Within 20 minutes of entering the building, my token called, went to counter #1.

Visa Officer (Oriental Guy)

VO: Good Morning

Me: Good Morning

VO: What do for ... (Company name)?

Me: Explained in 2 sentences my job duties

VO: How many years have you been working for this company?

Me: XX years

VO: Where did you complete your Masters?

Me: XX University

VO: Your Visa is approved. Here are the instructions for retrieving your passport & visa.

Me: Thank you.

Out of the building at 9:50.

Waiting for Waybill number to pick up my passport.
