Job classification code

Hi all,

My GC process was started by the employer in March 2011. After all the initial process of collecting documents, reference letters, prevailing wage determination etc, the attorney dealing my case has requested Job classification code in Aug 2011. Since then my case is pretty much stuck at the same state (or at least that's what I am being told by the attorney). He said, when they first requested the job classification code they got a wrong code from Dept. of Labor. So they had to re-request it last week and I am told that it will take any where from 60 to 90 days. My question is, does it really take that long to get job classification code from DOL? Any insight into this will help me a lot to understand what's going on. Thank you very much.

The job classification is assigned as part of the Prevailing Wage determination which is currently taking about 6-8 weeks on average.
