Green Card through Employment by relative

Hi

I am a student currently on my OPT and my employer has agreed to sponsor my H1b coming April.

My Brother in Law and sister are Green Card (GC) holders and he has a company of his own with only 2 employees (himself and my sister).

I learnt that I can start my GC process started parallely.

I plan to get my GC processing started through my Brother in law(through his company), while I work on an OPT (till Oct) and on an H1 after that.

I have 2 questions:

a) Is it feasible to file for an H1 and GC in the same time frame.

b) If my brother in law (as an employer) files a GC for me, would it create a problem in the process since he is a relative?

To get a GC through a company you or a relative own 5% or more in, you would in addition need an affidavit of support from a relative.
