pkmr
I have an approved I-140 from my previous employer. Current employer has not started the GC process yet. But my prority date will soon become current. In this case, 1. Can the new employer file I-140 (after perm), port old priority date and also file I-485 (all at the same time)? 2. I'm not sure if the pervious employer has revoked I-140. Is porting still possible even if that was revoked? Link to comment
aboppana
1. yes, you can. 2. you can check online status if you have case #. yes, porting will not be successful if I-140 has been revoked by your previous employer. Link to comment
Belle
Yes, and yes, you can retain the date even if the old I-140 was withdrawn by the employer. Link to comment
