What if the Labor department sends any query, will that change the priority date to any later date of 09th Jan? Or its just the date of the application reached to the labor department and getting a receipt. Can I use the same Priority date even if I change my employer and join any other company. pinot Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 PD is the date when the DOL receives your PERM. You can use the PD if you have I140 approved and it's not revoked. You have to submit a copy of old I140 if you want to port your PD. Link to comment
