EB2 OR EB3

I am working for an employer from 1998 at india, finished BE mechanical in the year 2004.

came to usa at 2007 in L1, got converted to H1 now, my employer is planning for GC,

based on my qualification and experience, I want to know will I qualify for EB2 or EB3.

I couldn't understand completely what you've written. But this is what I understood. If you finished Bachelors in 2004 and had gotten H1 before 2009 (5 years)it will be difficult to qualify for EB2 since you may need to use the experience gained with your sponsoring employer.

Eventually it's the job that describes whether you're EB3 or EB2.
