vashokpl
Hi, Please help me with right decision. I have EB3 approved PERM and I-140 and the priority date was December 2008 Few months ego my employer filled EB2 PERM and it got approved, and few days ego applied for I-140 (under EB2) and now we are waiting for receipt number mean while the EB2 dates are current. Initially when I came to US I was with another employer for about 10 months then I moved to my current employer I'm with them from 7 years to now. My second (current employer) applied initially EB3 GC then now applied EB2 GC. My questions are 1. Shall I wait till the EB2 I-140 approval decision? even though the dates are current? 2. Can I speed up my EB2 I-140 to get it faster (Premium processing)? 3. Since the EB2 dates are current, Am I eligible to apply I-140 and I-485 concurrently. Please provide me your valuable advice about my situation. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Belle
1. Your choice. You may file I-485 or wait. 2. I believe so. 3. Your I-140 is already pending. You may file I-485 concurrently. Link to comment
Desi Dude
Since you upgraded from EB3 to EB2 with the same employer, did you change your title? What about salary changes? Link to comment
vashokpl
Yes there is a salary change and job role changes as well from Programmer analyst to Sr Software Engineer Link to comment
Desi Dude
Is it safe to upgrade titles from Programmer Analyst to Software Engineer since both of them are very similar. Shouldn't Project Manager or Tech Lead be more appropriate? Link to comment
venven
Upgrade your I140 to premium to avoid any confusion. Link to comment
