a100 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 My H1 6th year will be complete in Feb 2013 and current extension is also valid up to Feb 2013. My understanding is that PERM must have been started 365 days before of 6th year completion to be able to get 7th year extension. My question is if PERM starts after about 6 months of posting Ad or before Ad post? What is your suggestion in my case? Link to comment
kala403 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 Ad and recruitment takes about 90 days, it is also called as quite period. Ideally your employer should apply for your PERM right after that. Link to comment
