concernedCitizen11
Hi, I got my H1B visa approved and I got the approval notice without I-94. Hence, I had to leave US and I went to the VO in Hyderabad. He handed over a yellow colored 221g after that. I took my visa appointment for F-2 after 1.5 months of waiting for their decision and it got rejected. My husband is a student in US and I am stuck in India. I got married recently and I do not have MS from US. Please let me know if I can continue working while I am in India, as the last day to work on my approval notice is valid till first week of March. My consultant (whom I work for) informed me that even though my F2 got rejected, I can still work till that date as the decision has not been made (221g). Thanks Link to comment
JoeF
If you are outside the US, you could of course work remotely for a US employer. Tax issues would be somewhat complicated, though, since you may have to pay taxes in your home country. The employer and you should consult with a good CPA knowledgeable about international issues.
