Is it possible that the case is denied by VO at the time of interview and the candidate is not informed and still the case undergoes administrative processing after requesting submission of questionnaire , resume and invitation letter?

Sorry ... My mistake ... It is not denied but refused with 221g blue issued... Later consulate requested to submit passport.. Then later resume questionnaire and invitation letter

It's admin processing. You can't do anything except to wait and watch.

Hey rasheed1011, the 221g means additional processing needs to be done. It does not mean the visa has been refused. The consulate will/should inform you if/when the visa has been refused.

It's possible.These days, applicants receiving their rejection letters almost two to three months after consulate comes to a decision on 221g. Some of the rejected letter have difference of 2-3 months when it comes to letter date and mailed date. At the same time, few people got rejection letters right a way without significant delay.
