Salary Hike and H1B and LCA ammendment

Hi Folks,Can anyone please let me know if we have to do an H1B ammendment along with new LCA if there is a hike in salary?

No, normal salary increases don't require a new LCA. A significant change in job responsibilities (which may also result in a salary increase as a side effect) would require a new one, but not a normal salary increase.

Generally, an amended H1B petition is required any time there is a material change to the terms and conditions of the H1B employment. Please schedule a consultation with an experienced immigration attorney to determine whether your salary increase is a normal increases in salary or a material change requiring an amended petition.

If the material changes include Change in the Job title,Job duties or change in client location then Non of the items metioned have changed.

Its only my salary that is increased.Do my employer still need to file for an H1B or LCA amendment ?

My H1 extensions got approved. There is a wage increase according to the new LCA created by my employer during the  extension file. Can somebody tell me when this new salary is effective from? Is it from the new extension/I 94 start date or the date on which it was approved?
