CodeVISA
Hello All, I am planning to go to Canada on Jan 17 for my VISA stamping (For 2 Time, EVC Model). My current VISA was expired 15 Months ago. I heard from one of my friends that if a person's Current VISA was expired more than a year ago then that person has to go to India (Home country) for his stamping. My friend mentioned that it was happened to one of his friend. Does any one has any idea on this?Any response will be appreciated. Thanks!! Link to comment

leo_maverick
I don't think it is an issue. You should be able to go to Canada/Mexico for you VISA stamping. You can always contact consulate and check on the same. Educate your friend. Link to comment

ram.u
I don't think its a problem. My friend was on H1 for 4 years without stamping after his F1, and got it stamped in Ottawa couple of months back without any issues. Link to comment
