Explanation: if the current month is Dec 2011 Visa Bulletin released this month will be for January 2012. so we can start applying for I-485/EAD/AP etc starting from 1st January 2012....my question is what is the date on which the January 2012 bulletin is overridden by the February 2012 bulletin. the day on which the February 2012 bulletin is released or 30th January 2012 ? Attorney_6 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Share Posted December 27, 2011 The Visa Bulletins are good for the entire month. They are not "overridden" by the next month's Visa Bulletin. The January Visa Bulletin is good from January 1 to January 31. (This does not change even though the February Visa Bulletin will be issued at some point around February 13th or so.) The February Visa Bulletin is good for the whole month of February and same thing for every other month of the year. Link to comment
