naga162
hi, Company X holds my Current H1-B and is valid till 2012. I found a new job and company Y has filed my H1-B transfer. According to the new rule i heard once we get the receipt number we can work for Company Y. If i start working with Company Y and if Company x cancels my Current H1-B . and later if my transfer gets rejects what are the ways that i can still legally work for Company Y. Link to comment
kusuma7884
Once we get the receipt number we can work for Company Y. - You are correct. You need to have a valid H1B Visa to work for any company. If you start working with Company Y and if Company x cancels my Current H1-B - You cannot work with Company Y any longer even if you have a receipt number. if my transfer gets rejects what are the ways that i can still legally work for Company Y.- I am really not sure. Mostly if the company has a good profile, it won't get rejected - I am not sure about this. Link to comment
