MurthyDotComShriram
I've discontinued my pursuit of US Bachelors Degree having pursued it from 2005 to 2008. I've one year of online work experience(@Startups) from this year, online tutor experience for a few months in 2010, and volunteer experience on technical projects throughout 2009 and 2010. Would a company have problems sponsoring me for H1-B due to lack of Bachelors Degree? Link to comment

JoeF
You would have to have 3 years of relevant experience in the field for each year missing towards the bachelor degree. That would have to be evaluated by an evaluation agency accepted by USCIS. Link to comment

Does volunteer experience on technical projects count as relevant experience unless it will be upto the evaluation agency. Where can I find the list of evaluation agencies accepted by the USCIS ? teju04
Hi Sir Im teju. i have completed my masters in database professional from sheffield hallam university, united kingdom(march 2011 pass out). i wanted to apply for work permit in uk but due to death of my father and few responsibilties i would not go back. even though i would give a try the market in uk is very tough many of my seniors havent got any jobs from 3 to 4 yrs of their course completion. during my study in uk i have done some customer service jobs on contract basis and after coming to india i am working as an database administrator till date. the pay is very less compared to what my friends are getting abroad and i have to meet my family expenses . i want to apply for H1b visa. but do u think any company could give me any sponsorship if i apply?
