Does debt settlement have any impact on green card processing

Hi,

I am thinking about doing credit card debt settlement. Will this affect my green card processing or naturalization after that? My company has just filed PERM Labor Certification application to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). Also does credit history affect in any way at port of entry to US?

That's a civil issue and won't have an effect.
