arjunra1
Hello Experts, I am switching jobs. My H-1B with new employer got approved today and the I-797 is on the way. My start date will be Jan 16th and I have to go to India on Jan 30th or so. So by that time I will hardly have 1 paycheck with my new employer. My question is: "Can I go to HYD consulate for visa stamping with only 1 paycheck from my future employer." Is that suggestible and will there be any issues. FYI, This is my first visa stamping I have been and will be working as a direct permanent employee. Thanks and your help is highly appreciated. RJ Link to comment
USADreams
That Should be fine as far as you have old paychecks from previous employer . Link to comment
avasi36
I'm sailing in the same boat but changed to permanent just a month ago. when I spoke to the attorney, they replied that I can visit India any time and attend stamping. I currently have around 4 pay stubs. I guess it should be fine if you have all the required documentation. Number of paychecks doesn't matter. I'm not an expert thought so check other options too. Best of luck Avasi Link to comment
