Question regarding experience letter for GC process

Hi All,

My employer is all set to begin my GC process , before beginning they have asked for some documents.

one among them is the experience letters from previous employers with TITLE,DATES and DUTIES , I had worked for two employers before the current one.

The first employer has agreed to give the experience letter in the required format i.e with the TITLE,DATES and DUTIES.

From the second employer i have the experience letter with TITLE and DATES only, when i contacted them and asked them to give the letter with the DUTIES added to the letter they refused to do it.

SO currently i have experience letters from both the prior employers but only the first company's letter has my duties mentioned in it, The second employers letter does not have the DUTIES mentioned.

My current employer says that the letter with DUTIES mentioned is absolutely necessary or they will not start the GC application.

Can you guys give some suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Yes, the USCIS does require the experience letters to have job duties listed. You may want to consult a knowledgeable immigration attorney in regard to your case and to alternatives that may be acceptable to the USCIS.
