santhu721 Posted December 16, 2011 Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 Hi I had a visa interview for my first time H1B stamping ( I was of F1 earlier) at Hyderabad consulate and was issued a 221g for administrative processing. It's been a little over 2 weeks and I have not heard back from the consulate. My husband holds a valid H1B and he has got the visa stamped the same day I went for interview. My question is, while my H1b is under administrative processing, can I apply for H4 visa based on my husband's H1B ? Has anyone gone through this. Please share your thoughts.
