Green Card having F1 visa

I am working with H1 Visa and applied for Green Card. My labor and I 140 has been approved. My priority date is July 2010.

My wife is currently in H4 Visa. She got J1 visa for Higher Study (post doc) and she is planning to join post doc.

My question is once my priority date is current, will there any issue filing GC for her (my wife) or there will not be any issue ?

She will have an issue with the J status if it comes with a two year home stay requirement (not every one does). She needs to talk to a lawyer before changing her status. You won't be filing "for her"; she will be filing her own I-485.
