OPT Extension - H1B

Hi,

I am currently working as a full-time employee with a big american consulting firm. I am on 17 month -OPT Extension and this expires in Feb, 2013. My current employer does not sponsor H-1B. But, they agreed to work on a co-op to co-op basis if I find an employer. I am looking for an employer who can file H-1 next April.

1. Will that be an issue if I join my new employer just before filing H-1B, like in March or Should I ask my current employer to work with my new employer from Jan 2012? When is the good time to move?

2. Will getting my H1-B be jeopardy?

3. If the location of my employer is a different place, will that be a big issue. I've heard this being an issue these days. So, just want to double confirm on this.
