Ottawa Visa Stamping - Success , PIMS Update Pending

Hello Friends, Thanks a lot for all your support.

I had my visa stamping on 12/12 and this is my 7th year, I was there at the consulate 15 Minutes before my appointment time (8 AM EST) and passed the security check followed by finger prints.

Questions asked:

1. What do you do for your company?

2. How many years you have been with current company? ..

Your visa is Approved and PIMS update is Pending, so it may take an additional business day or two.

I am waiting for the next updates.

This is Srikanth. I have attended on 13th he told the same for me too. He said my visa is approved but need PIMS Verification and it will talk 3-4 days. Not sure how long it will take. Where are you staying right now . My email id is kumar.mavurapu @g .com

Hi Sandeep and Srikanth,

I also attended interview at 9.00 AM on December 13th.

The interview was quick with just 3 questions. The VO told me that the visa is approved but they are waiting for PIMS update and it wil take one more additional day for the update.

I called the call center today and they do not have any update. they said usually it takes 3 - 7 business days to get the waybill number updated.

I am waiting for the updates. please post if you receive any update.

Hi Goutham,

Have you got any update . I was interviewed on 13th 8 AM and I got my passport on Thurday.

@Rohit- I think you ask your employer to send email for PIMs update or you can send email to the consulate like 5 days before your interview and give them you information and ask them for PIMS update.

I struck with a very known problem (PIMS), I sent an email to PIMS and ottawa consulate before my interview, but no clue what's happening with PIMS

I ll update once I get my passport back.

I am going to get my passport tomorrow, B'z of Christmas they are clearing the PIMS issues, almost 10 people that I know had same issue (PIMS), now everybody getting the passports.
