vendy9999 Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 i have my i-140 approved a year ago.. my priority date is in april 2009 i heard that to file my i-485 i dont need any involvement of my empoyer. can i directly talk to the lawyer and pay the fees and work on this.. is that true. i already got the i140 approval copy from my employer - do i still anything from him to file my i-485.
