Hello All,

Based on January bulletin, EB3 for employment based GC is moved to 08AUG02 and my Labor PD is 06AUG02.

Could anyone please educate me on how this process works?

When should I expect to receive approval email notification?

Assuming that you have your I-140 approved, you can file the I-485 starting on Jan 1st 2012.

Once you file your I-485, you get an receipt notice and then an appointment for finger printing. This process might take 2-6 weeks or more. Once you get your finger printing done, you will receive your EAD and Advanced parole(travel document if applied) in 2-4 months depending on the service centre where you filed your I-485. As of now, there is no time frame when you might get the GC. Your attorney will be able to give you more details about the entire process. Good luck.
