What category does a spouse of US Citizen fall under to file for GC

I filed for 485 back in 2004 (with PD July 2003) and I got my GC in 2007 where as my wife's hasn't. She is dependent on my application. I am about to file for citizenship. After I get citizenship, waht category can my wife file for GC and how long it might take to get the GC?

Spouses of US citizens are immediate relatives. There is no quota for immediate relatives. It takes a couple of months for the I-130 and I-485 to be approved.

once you are a US citizen (after oath), you can petition your spouse under IR (immediate relative) and priority date is current (no wait time for visa), you will only need to wait for the processing of your case which is approx. 6-9 months. you can interfile the submitted I-485 (if she has one) or apply a new one.
