I485/I140 question

Hi,

My husband's company filed our I140 and I485 concurrently in the EB1 category 2 months back(PD was current).

I checked the status online and both I140 and I485 are still in initial review. But our EAD and AP's statuses show that they are approved and cards have been mailed.

Am a little confused here as I was under the impression that only after the I140 is approved, the I765, I131 and the I485 will be processed.

Can someone explain the correct process?

No. I-131 and I-765 are approved when I-485 is pending. Nothing else is needed.

Will our I485's be processed only after the I140 is approved? If yes, what is the timeline for 1140 processing

for the EB1 category?

I-485 will be processed, but it cannot be approved before I-140 is approved. I-140 pending times vary widely.
