H1 Stamping

Hi,

I'm in US with H1 visa. My visa expired sep 2011 & I got an I797 extension till Aug 2012. I am planning to go for vacation on Feb 2012.

As I am on I797, I have to go for a stamping. From Feb - Aug , I will have only 7 months for the extension period. Here is my question:

Do we have any restriction to have the valid X amount of time to for a stamping?

Is there a possibility for the rejection based on this?
