received email from NDFPU@state.gov - Need Urgent Advice

I appeared before US Delhi Consulate for interview on 19-10-2011 – they issued me 221(g) provided all required information as I have it handy, Visa officer kept my passport as well original I-765 and I 129 for past 3 renewals from my current employer denied to accept copies, and asked me to leave as they would like to do some research on my case.

Received email on 11-28-2011 requesting second set of all above documents, provided all of my originals on 11-30-2011, no news after this from consulate or VFS.

After this I received an email from NDFPU@state.gov (New Delhi Fraud Protection Unit) – asking me my contact number. I have not heard from them so far.

Any of you guys have gone through this process from Delhi Consulate, if so if you can share your experience and any advice that you can provide, should I hire lawyer or any other information that I can have,

Is it possible till your case is under administrative review you can ask consulate to return your passport so you can travel some were else and re-submit it if needed?

Mine is similar to your case in the context visa is approved but pp delayed to be received. Similar like you , the VO kept my

I-797,I-129,LCA,client letters,paystubs for verification and promised to return our pp's within 3business days. But when I enquired about via vfs, the US consulate had straight away kept my case under admin processing with a case#.So its already 70 calendar days days or 50 working days or 10 weeks, I haven't received my PP. I already made a congressional enquiry but I received same standard reply. Well I don't know , if my case is kept fraud protection unit.

Hi Winter 21:

In my case I am not sure if my visa is approved or not, I just received email after 60 days from New Delhi Fraud Protection Unit asking my Phone # now its been 4 days have not received any call either from them.

I received 221(g) same day on Interview - submitted passport and all I 797 I 129

Resubmitted again same documents after a month as per email from VFS

Received email from NDFPU asking my phone # for india

My employer have emailed so many times to Delhi Consulate - as well been sending emails to consulate but have received no reply from them.
