L1 to H1 Transfer - Approved with COS - Working with previous employer

I was working for employer "A". During that time I started my processing for H1 with another employer. It was approved with Change of Status and updated I94 in Dec 2010.

However due to some work, I continued with my previous employer i.e. A on L1 until Jan 31. while my petition was approved.

Please let me know if this has caused any negative remarks in my history and if I am out of status or if this will cause any issues in future h1 processing or GC processing.

As per my knowledge, You are not suppose to work with L1 with the new COS date. It looks like illegal. Consult an attorney better.

Currently I am in L1B Visa from Company A,I got a sponsor from Company B for change of status to H1B.

Will this H1B comes under the Cap count 2012 ?

or it will come under Different Cap?

If my H1B is approved Should i Wait till OCT to start working for Company B ?
