My wife h4 to f1 is under process when my PD is current

My PD will be be current next month but I applied h4 to f1 conversion for my wife 2 weeks backs. Please advice what should i do?

Withdraw the h4 to f1? What is the process? will there be any issues?

My guess is there is a reason why your wife needs an F1. If so, what she can do is to wait for F1 approval, and then file her AOS petition after 90 days. It is unlikely the dates will retrogress, but even if they do, she has an independent status. Withdrawing the petition may jeopardise some of the benefits she is getting on F1.
