OttawaJ
Dear Experts, Recently my H1B Visa Stamping got approved after 4 weeks of delay in Ottawa Embassy. However, I have traveled back to India in the meantime. Is it possible to mail the passport to the US Embassy in Ottawa (rather than going in person) and get it stamped as I will be on Vacation after next week anyways? Thanks. Link to comment
kuku82
you can not send an Indian passport abroad. It is illegal. You will have to go in person to submit the passport. You will be in trouble if the custom at Indian airport or Canadian airport, realize that there is a passport in the package. They will keep a hold on package and will be a legal action against you. doctor_Baali
Even if you send your PP through mail, how you can you travel to Canada with your passport to collect it with stamping? DHL/Loomis express doesn't deliver your stamped passport to outside Canada. Link to comment
