Open PO on company name Vs PO on one's name

Hi;

This is an extension to my previous thread. I am trying to return to the USA. My h1b has been approved without much fuss even though there was an RFE.

My employer has an open PO with one of the biggest SW/HW company, which happened to be my ex-employer. But the PO is on my company's name but not on any given candidate. My employer has few employee working with the client on one of the state Govt projects. My employer used the same for getting my H1B approved.

Now, I am preparing for the Stamping. I am wondering whether I should get a job before attending the VISA to get a PO on my name rather than using PO which is on my company's name.

Please share your experience..

Moderators/Murthy Experts, please suggest the best solution that would me in the situation.
