PD is current but I485 not approved for 5 months

Hi,

I initially had an EB3 filing with a PD of 2003. This was later changed to an EB2 filing earlier this year. The EB2 I140 was approved in July this year and my old PD was retained. So my PD has been current since then.

However my I485 has not yet been approved. I expected approval in 4-6 weeks but it's been 5 months now. I have repeatedly contacted my lawyers but haven't got any reasonable answers as to what is going on with my case.

My question is whether my case is typical or unusual. Is there anything I can do to check what the status of my I485 is ie. is it even on USCIS's radar?
