h1hopes
Hi, My previous employer filed labor and I-140. It got approved, but then I left to my home country. Now when I got new 797 there is one number in the beneficiary section: AXXX XXX XXX. Is this I140 number that got approved previously? Previous employer refused to give me a copy of approved I-140 (he is calming that it is lost). Is there any way I can obtain I-140 copy without previous employer's help? Link to comment
Belle
You can't get a copy of I-140. However, you may be able to fril FOIA request that will provide you some details. Also, check if the old employer had a lawyer. The lawyer would have records, and will have to give you your A number. Link to comment
JoeF
You can file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with USCIS to get a copy of the I-140. Link to comment
