My company says it takes atleast 15-20 business days to get the hard copy from USICS. Is that true? Dont we have a faster method to do that? Link to comment

Live4GC Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 The process might be little slow because of the holiday season and also because of the thousands of applications received when the quota was getting over. Ask your employer if he has some kind of email that acknowledges the approval and also has start date and end date on it. Link to comment
Riz12 Posted December 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 yes there was an acknowledement mail stating Classification: H1B Starting Validity Date: 12/01/11 Ending Validity Date: 10/01/14 Consulate notified (if applicable): CHENNAI I-94 # (if applicable): The form I-797 Approval Notice will follow in the mail. So i just wanted to know the process after this. Also will the stamping happen on the same day of the interview at consulate office? Link to comment
