Documents to carry for H1B Visa Stamp at Mumbai Consulate

Hello Everyone,

Traveling to India in Dec 2011 and need to get my H1B visa stamped.

Need to confirm which other what documents to carry.

I did my Masters in US and work as direct employee. I recently changed my company and worked as a direct employee for previous company too. This is my first H1B Visa Stamp.

Visa Appt Letter

DS160 Form Submission confirmation

HDFC Fee Reciept

Passport

H1-B approval notice (Notice of Action - I-797)

Pay Stubs

W2

Tax Returns

University Certificates

Driver License

Note: I have not started my GC process.

Also which model I fall into? I see a lot of posts taking about E-V and E-V-C model. What model does a full time employee fall into?

@peppermint 82: A FTE ( full time employee) doesn't fall into the E-V or E-V-C models. You need to have confidence, be very transparent and honest and you should be fine.

You should be able to clearly explain that your job description matches with your area of concentration of your MS/Phd
