drgmehta
Hi, I am Veterinarian from India who has cleared the equivalency exam and also got a licence for practice in US. What is the best way to go ahead for starting the green card process? Which catagory will be best for applying of green card? I am right now on H1B visa and have completed 3 years on this visa. Thanks. Link to comment
Attorney_17
You should ask your employer to sponsor you for a PERM-based green card application. Your employer should contact an experienced immigration attorney who is familiar with the unique issues associated with preparing and filing a PERM application for a veterinarian. Link to comment
drgmehta
Thanks for your reply. Just to add to my question, having done a MS in non-veterinary science field from a US university has an effect on my possible process of application in the future. With this MS I have some scientific publications also. I have already completed a MS in Veterinary Science from India after I did my DVM. Thanks. Link to comment
