H1b Visa Stamping - Kolkatta 221(g)

Visa Type - H1B

Passpost - not returned (VO has my passport)

Recieved - 221(g) brown form and VO checked Other option, none of the documents required.

HI All,

I came India for emegency trip (My father passed away) and attended visa interview at Kolkatta consulate.

After asking couple of questions VO has given 221(g) brown form and he has written on "Processing". I have been in United stated 6 years. January 2010 I had stamping at Hyderabad consulate, this time I did not get appointment at hyderabad consulate so went to Kolkatta. I am with same client last 4 + years and same employer last 6 years.

My wife and 2 year old kid is in US. I am feeling VO should rejected my visa instead of processing. This is very frustating.

I not seeing any one recieved brown 221g form. Is this new? Any body receved it?/

Cant predict anything man. Wait and watch and dont follow up , I have done that with Kolkata consulate and they are taking revenge for that.

Did u hear back from them - i interviewed on dec 30th and am waiting so trying to get an idea how long this takes.
