shivav
I am currently on H1B visa stamp and I-94 valid until 2014. I transfered my H1 to a new employer a couple of months back. Now, I am planning to get married and bring my wife. Do I need to go for stamping again?? Can they approve H4 for my wife on my current visa??? Help!!!! Thanks. Shiva Link to comment
sivad
when you leave US your I94 is taken by US.. so to enter back again to US you need to have a Valid VISA stamping...since your spouse didn't had a stamping yet.. she/he should go to VISA stamping in US consulate to enter US... livliv
You don't need a new Visa. Your wife can obtain her Visa using your latest approval notice. Link to comment
Saifesta
Shivav, As mentione by Livliv you would not need a visa stamping, only your spouse will need it. Do remember to show your new I797 at the POE so that you get the new I94 date as per the new approved petition. Link to comment
